The Trojan Bouquet
Moms who take a break from work for caregiving have an uphill battle reentering the workforce. Through the Momternship program, Mullenlowe had set out to give mothers from any career background the opportunity to intern and gain experience in marketing. But with over 800 applications received, they couldn’t hire them all. This limitation sparked a creative and compassionate solution: the Trojan Bouquet campaign.
On Mother's Day, we delivered bouquets to influential hiring managers across our favorite agencies. These were not ordinary floral arrangements, but powerful statements of professional aspiration—each bouquet artfully wrapped in the resumes of talented mothers seeking to reclaim their career trajectories. Included with the bouquets was a compelling invitation: to establish their own Momternship programs and help break down barriers facing working mothers.
